Q. I see that Sun & Earth is a NASAA organic certified retailer. What does this mean?
A. It means we are serious about organics (and not space travel). It means that every organic product in our store is certified and traceable back to its origin. It means we guarantee our customers that what we say is organic, IS certified organic. We do this though strict product selection, making sure that what we stock is excellent quality and is certified by the right bodies, and through proper storage (separating organic from non organic) ensuring no contamination. Our yellow certified organic labels are seen on all organic bulk foods and fruit and veg so it makes customers choices clear. We even use organic cleaning products and pest control in our shop. Each year we get audited by NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia) to make sure we are keeping up with the standards. NASAA even take samples of food and has them tested in their labs to make sure there are no pesticide residues.
